External- Internal Sales  - Permanent Full Time - Smithfield (NSW)

The External Sales element of the role involves visiting distributors 5 times per year in Sydney, ACT and Regional NSW to present new products, maintain service and increase sales. The Internal Sales element is, 42.5 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday 8am-5pm in Smithfield - Answering phones and emails from distributors. Processing orders, quoting and assisting with technical product enquiries. Also requires assisting in the warehouse from time to time. (Full Maintained Company Vehicle - Included)

What common roles are there within Finer Power Transmissions?

Internal Sales - Working directly with distributors to manage orders, quotations and technical enquiries. Answering phones and responding to emails promptly to deliver fast and accurate service to distributors. Entering orders into the system and coordinating jobs and freight with the warehouse team.  

External Sales -Travelling to visit distributors in person to discuss their requirements, present new products and look for opportunities to assist them (distributors) further with Finer Power Transmissions' extensive range of Bearings, Mechanical Power Transmission supplies and service. Dependent on the territories being managed - most external sales team members drive long distances into regional areas and can be away for 2-4 nights on some trips. When not travelling - the external sales team work with the internal sales team. 

Warehouse - Picking and packing distributor orders which can be challenging due to Finer Power Transmissions' commitment to same day dispatch for distributors. In addition to managing distributor orders - warehouse team members will sometimes receive shipments, check them and put stock on the shelves. Fork lift licenses are required* for various tasks such as - unloading containers, getting pallets down from racking and loading trucks.

There are other more specific roles with tasks and responsibilities within Finer Power Transmissions (e.g. Purchasing, Marketing, IT, HR, etc) however the positions listed above are the 3 most common areas upon which opportunities present themselves as the company grows.
